This is what exactly what Jesus has done to me.

And what He promised are all true.

I have developed this beautiful habit of praising Him in the midst of my loneliness, heartaches, brokeness, fears, frustrations and it all turned out all good.

I am joyful wherever I am now.

Flipping the Switch

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.
—Psalm 118:1

When you thank Me for the difficult things in your life, suddenly they are no longer as difficult. How this works is a mystery.

But if you will give Me thanks—even for the things that make you sad or upset—then I will give you Joy. And you can have that Joy no matter what is happening.

For those who don’t know Me well, thanking Me for heartaches and hardships seems impossible—even silly. But if you step out in faith and thank Me, you will be blessed. You may still be in the same yucky situation, but it will be as if someone flipped on the light switch in a dark room. You’ll see things in the Light of My Presence—from My point of view—and realize that you aren’t alone. My Presence will make your troubles not so troublesome.
