Nick Vujicic SPEECH - MOTIVATIONAL VIDEO - 2016| Never give up| Nick's life without limbs

Prepare a tissue..

Nick Vujicic is an evangelist who has shared his message of hope to over 6 million people in 57 countries. Nick shares how his faith, which is rooted in the Lord Jesus Christ, changed his life forever! Nick Vujicic is the Founder, President and CEO of Life Without Limbs, a non-profit organization whose mission is to share the Good News of Jesus Christ through Nick’s own life. Vujicic was born in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, in 1982, to Dušanka and Borislav Vujičić, devout Serbian Orthodox emigrants from Yugoslavia. Nick’s parents became active in a Melbourne church. His mother attended nursing school at the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne while his father worked in business management. Nick was born with phocomelia without some fully formed limbs. According to his autobiography, his mother refused to see him or hold him while the nurse held him in front of her, but she and her husband eventually accepted their son's condition and understood it as God's plan for their son. Vujicic has two small and deformed feet, one of which he calls his "chicken drumstick" because of its shape. Originally, Nick was born with the toes of that foot fused. An operation was performed to separate the toes so that Nick could use them as fingers to grab, turn a page, or perform other functions. Nick has been able to use his foot to operate an electric wheelchair, a computer and a mobile phone. Vujicic notes that he had an "amazingly normal childhood". Vujicic thrived in his teenage and young adult years despite being bullied. Nick graduated from Griffith University at the age of 21 with a Bachelor of Commerce degree, with a double major in accountancy and financial planning. Since his first speaking engagement at age 19, Nick has traveled around the world, sharing his story with millions, sometimes in stadiums filled to capacity, speaking to a range of diverse groups such as students, teachers, young people, business professionals and church congregations of all sizes. Today this dynamic young evangelist has accomplished more than most people achieve in a lifetime. He’s an author, musician, actor, and his hobbies include fishing, painting and swimming. In 2007, Nick made the long journey from Australia to southern California where he is the president of the international non-profit ministry, Life Without Limbs. Nick says, “If God can use a man without arms and legs to be His hands and feet, then He will certainly use any willing heart!” Nick’s latest foray into radio will expand his platform for inviting men and women all around the world to embrace the liberating hope and message of Jesus Christ. Nick prayed very hard that God would give him arms and legs, and initially told God that, if his prayer remained unanswered, Nick would not praise him indefinitely. However, a key turning point in his faith came when his mother showed him a newspaper article about a man dealing with a severe disability. Vujicic realized he wasn't unique in his struggles and began to embrace his lack of limbs. After this, Nick realized his accomplishments could inspire others and became grateful for his life. Nick gradually figured out how to live a full life without limbs, adapting many of the daily skills limbed people accomplish without thinking. Nick writes with two toes on his left foot and a special grip that slid onto his big toe. Nick knows how to use a computer and can type up to 45 words per minute using the "heel and toe" method. Nick has also learned to throw tennis balls, play drum pedals, get a glass of water, comb his hair, brush his teeth, answer the phone and shave, in addition to participating in golf, swimming, and even sky-diving. During secondary school, Nick was elected captain of MacGregor State in Queensland and worked with the student council on fundraising events for local charities and disability campaigns. When Nick was seventeen, he started to give talks at his prayer group, and later founded his non-profit organization, Life Without Limbs. Brian Head Welch - Why are they Corrupt?

Several years ago, I found myself contemplating matters akin to Brian Head Welch's reflections. My introspection focused on individuals identifying as "Christians" who displayed a propensity for passing judgment on their fellow believers. What struck me was their claim to moral perfection since embracing Christianity, a stance that left me unsettled. I attribute a measure of accountability to God for such individuals, suggesting that their judgmental attitudes may potentially alienate believers from their faith, particularly those in the early stages of their journey. My prolonged journey as a believer prompted me to question my own perseverance in sin, influenced by a distinct aversion to the Pharisaical and hypocritical conduct exhibited by certain Christians. Despite my sincere aspiration to emulate God's unconditional love, I grapple with an inherent inability to do so. Consequently, I made the conscious choice to disengage from unproductive debates and immersed myself in a comprehensive study of biblical texts. The scriptures, in return, have unveiled insights into those who, as per divine pronouncements, incur God's displeasure. Significantly, Jesus, the ultimate healer, presents a transformative path that transcends judgment—a dimension I intend to expound upon in my upcoming blog post or video.

Luke 18:42: The Healing Touch of Jesus - Insights into Divine Restoration

Luke 18:42: The Healing Touch of Jesus - Insights into Divine Restoration

In Luke 18:42, we witness a profound encounter between Jesus and a blind man, unveiling the transformative power of divine healing. This momentous event not only showcases Jesus as a healer but also illuminates the deeper spiritual healing He offers to those seeking sight beyond the physical.

To fully appreciate the significance of Luke 18:42, it's vital to delve into the broader context. Jesus' ministry was marked by numerous miraculous healings, emphasizing His role as a divine healer. In the cultural context of that era, physical ailments like blindness were often associated with spiritual significance, adding depth to Jesus' healing ministry.

- Explore Jesus' other healing encounters in the Gospels to grasp the multifaceted nature of His healing ministry.

- Study the cultural beliefs surrounding sickness and healing in Jesus' time to understand the societal impact of His miraculous acts.

The Encounter and its Healing Lessons:

As the blind man cried out for mercy, Jesus stopped and responded to his plea. The man's earnest desire for sight mirrored a deeper spiritual yearning. Jesus, moved by faith, granted him physical healing. This interaction illustrates not only Jesus' ability to heal physical ailments but also His capacity to restore spiritual sight and bring wholeness.

Bible Study Notes:

- Examine the language used in the passage ("your faith has healed you") to understand the intimate connection between faith and healing in Jesus' ministry.

- Research scholarly insights or commentaries on the significance of Jesus' healing miracles in the broader context of His mission.

Personal Reflection:

Reflecting on Luke 18:42 invites us to explore moments when we've encountered spiritual blindness or yearned for healing—whether physically, emotionally, or spiritually. Sharing personal experiences of encountering Jesus as a healer adds depth to understanding the transformative nature of His healing touch.

**Tips to Embrace Jesus as a Healer and Build Faith:**

- Study accounts of Jesus' healing in the Bible: Immerse yourself in the Gospel narratives of Jesus' healing miracles to deepen your understanding and faith in Him as a healer.

- Pray for healing and restoration: Approach Jesus earnestly in prayer, seeking His healing touch in areas of need.

- Trust in Jesus' sovereignty and timing: Acknowledge that Jesus knows what's best for us and has the power to heal in His perfect timing.

Application to Daily Life:

Translating the lessons from Luke 18:42, we can actively seek Jesus as our healer. His healing touch isn't confined to physical ailments but extends to emotional wounds, spiritual blindness, and every aspect of our lives. Through faith, prayer, and trust in His healing power, we can experience transformative healing.

Luke 18:42 stands as a testament to Jesus' identity as a divine healer. As we navigate life's challenges, may we seek Jesus not only for physical healing but also for the deeper restoration and spiritual sight only He can provide. Through faith in Him as our healer, we find hope, wholeness, and profound healing.

That’s all for now Beloveds. Stay tuned for more!
