Giant Jesus statue completed

While it wasn't possible to verify the exact height of the new statue, there was no doubt that 'Christ the King', as the golden-crowned Polish statue is called, cut an imposing sight as it was finally completed. -- PHOTO: REUTERS

SWIEBODZIN (Poland) - A GIGANTIC statue of Jesus that Poles claim is the world's largest rose majestically above a small town on Saturday, as the grandiose dream of a local priest finally came to pass.

The white statue with outstretched arms and golden crown rising above the western Polish plains in Swiebodzin provides competition to Rio de Janiero's iconic Christ the Redeemer. The mayor of the western Polish town, Dariusz Bekisz, claims it is now the world's tallest.

Rev Sylwester Zawadzki, the 78-year-old priest who created the statue said it rises 33m - one metre for every year that Jesus lived. Other members of the construction team, however, gave differing figures. One said it rises 51m if you include a mound it sits on and the crown on the head. By comparison, the statue in Brazil's Rio is 38m tall.

While it wasn't possible to verify the exact height of the new statue, there was no doubt that 'Christ the King', as the golden-crowned Polish statue is called, cut an imposing sight as it was finally completed.

It has divided Poles and underlined the deep cultural divide between a deeply Catholic population and an increasingly confident secular society - with many mocking the statue project as tacky.

But many residents in Swiebodzin welcome it. They believe it will put their town of 22,000 on the map for tourists and Roman Catholic pilgrims and bring in needed money to renovate the historic buildings in the tiny town centre. -- AP

Just Speak in Tongues. :)

Have you ever felt bad, uncomfortable or irritated when your friends or someone speak negative words or say bad words towards you?

I felt the same way too.

Indeed, knowing the truth leads you to that extra mile and open new levels of thinking. :)

I have come to know the power of our words! The words we speak to someone, to our loved ones and family really have a great psychological, spiritual, and emotional impact in their being. No wonder Jews love to bless their children with words of Prosperity and health!

Just wana share, I've developed this habit of thinking and speaking of only "good words" that uplifts me instead of speaking bad or negative words.

How did I do it?

Well, it's easy.

Everytime I felt bad vibes or bad thoughts coming my way, I blocked it by speaking in tongues at first.

After a while, depends how intense the feelings were, I took a deep breathe in and out while doing it.

I felt good after so I said,
"Hey Lord, this is a good tool for me!"

My life went on and on with too much pressure at work and the more it happened, the more I kept speaking in tongues.

You see,
when you speak in tongues, you let the Spirit pray for you.

Because there are situations that you don't know what to pray, or what to ask for so it's better you just let the spirit pray for you instead.

You know when our mind wants this and that. And then it ends up really confused. Hahah!

So I say, it's just better to Speak in tongues!

This process took months on me to really have full control. It may work differently in you, so just go with the flow. Speak in tongues when you think you need to speak in tongues. It might be the Holy Spirit prompting you to do so.

If you have no idea of what's speaking in tongue is , you can google it yourself. I will try to post more some of my experiences in the coming weeks. Don't worry.

I remember one time I was so pissed with something then swear words or the f*** words were almost gona come out from my mouth, then I just patiently held my breathe and led myself to speak in tongues than utter those hurtful words.

The result?

Great RELIEF!

And it felt soooo good I wana do it again and again and again!

Halleluyaaaah!

"For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith."

It's A Beautiful Wednesday Morning!

Good morning Singapore and to the rest of the world..:)
Sunrise teaches me to smile.
Took this photo while I was about to go to work. I was kinda late but there's no way I could've missed this shot.

Indeed, God reminds me each day how beautiful the world is.

Thank you Jesus! Yes I'm sooooo coming back to You!!

Enjoy today's daily devotional from Joseph Prince Beloveds!

Be blessed!:)

When God Ran by Joseph Prince

Luke 15:22
22“But the father said to his servants, ‘Bring out the best robe and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet.

If you are a believer, you are probably familiar with the touching story of the prodigal son that Jesus shared. Who do you think the father in the story represents? Jesus’ Father in heaven, of course. Jesus was giving us a picture of His Father, who is also our Father.

In the story, the father was seen running toward his son, who was returning home. (Luke 15:20) Do you realize that God is never described as being in a hurry in the Bible? He is always cool and composed. The only time He is portrayed as being in a hurry is in this story. Though improper in Jewish culture, the father held up his robe and ran. Where was he running to? Why was he in such a hurry?

The father was in a hurry because he had seen his son, who was still a long way from home. He was running toward his son as he could not wait to embrace and kiss his child again.

The father was in a hurry to clothe his son with the best robe. My friend, our Father has put the best robe — the robe of righteousness — on us. In doing so, He has reinstated us as sons of the Most High God, a position which we had lost when Adam fell.

The father was in a hurry to put a ring on his son’s hand. Like the authority that is invested in the signet ring of a rich man’s son, our Father is eager to put back into our hands the authority to invoke His name, so that we can walk in dominion every day.

The father was in a hurry to put sandals on his son’s feet to assure him that he was still his son — only servants went about barefoot. Our Father never wants us to feel like hired servants or outcasts. We are always His sons.

Beloved, if the Father appears to be in a hurry, it is only because He is in a hurry to assure you of your position as His precious child!

Thank you Jesus for Restoring My Soul!

You know what?
It really makes a difference when you get to know who our God truly is.

Few years back before knowing the Truth, I was restless, stressed-out and was in a state of a limbo that having Peace was like dreaming in a wonderland.

I thought God was very hard to pleased. That you need to do a lot of "good" stuffs and be really good in His eyes before we could get favour from Him. (just like our dad or parents)

I struggled in that wrong thought and belief. And I didn't enjoy living well. Because in my mind, I said, "Gosh, in this world, you need to please a lot of people, and plus God??". (lolx)

I chewed on that bad teaching for years which made my life miserable! Haaaah!

But now, everything is different.

I have come to know who God really is and what His heart longs for me.

He only wants me to have a good future.

So I can rest in and enjoy His love.
No more struggling asking,

"Is my wish going to come true?"

"Is my future going to be good?"

"am I worth to get good things from Him??"

Hey! God has already said it in

Jeremiah 29:11

He indeed plans to prosper and NOT HARM ME!

He plans to give me a good future!

So the same promise goes with you too my beloved.

Just stay with Jesus!
Because you are in the right track!

Don't worry if for now, everything looks blurry, complicated,on a haywire, and if you feel your faith is shaking here and there.
These are only temporary.

One day, you will just laugh at these events in your life and smile. :)

You'd shout for joy , repeating these words...

"God is awesome!
God is good!"

Trust me.

Because "been there, done that!"

:)

Thank you Jesus for restoring my Soul!

How Tender Is God’s Heart Toward You by Joseph Prince

How Tender Is God’s Heart Toward You by Joseph Prince

Ephesians 2:7
7that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

Have you ever blown things out of proportion and gotten angry with God when you were going through a trying time? This happened to Jesus’ disciples when a storm hit them hard. In their fear of drowning, they cried out to Jesus, who was getting some much-needed sleep in the boat, “Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?” (Mark 4:38)

For accusing Him of not caring, you would think that they received a rebuke from Jesus. But it was the wind which received His rebuke, and a great calm followed. (Mark 4:39) Because of His tenderness toward His own, Jesus did not waste time taking offence. Instead, He wasted no time taking care of the problem that had caused His disciples so much anxiety and fear.

This also happened to two sisters, Martha and Mary, who did not hesitate to let Jesus know how they felt when He finally showed up days after their brother Lazarus had died. Both sisters made the same remark to Him: “Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died.” (John 11:21, 32)

Both sisters had seen Jesus’ miracles of mercy and love. Now, in their grief, they focused on how He could have prevented their brother’s death, but did not. They did not know His heart — how tender it was toward them and how His help would never fail them, but would even extend to raising their dead brother. (John 11:41–44)

Beloved, your heavenly Father sees you trying to stay afloat when you are in the midst of a storm. He sees you trying to provide for yourself and your family, and thinking, “If I don’t take care of these things, no one else will!” And He wants you to know how tender His heart is toward you, how He is not offended by all the bad things you have ever said of or to Him. He wants you to know how much He wants to and will help and bless you. So let go and experience afresh the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward you!

Blessed In More Ways Than One by Joseph Prince

Blessed In More Ways Than One by Joseph Prince

Romans 5:1
1Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,

We are not trying to get peace with God. We already have peace with God, having been justified by faith through our Lord Jesus Christ. This peace with God brings us the peace of God, which guards our hearts and minds. (Philippians 4:7) Then, the peace of God inside us will also translate into the peace of God outside us — in all our outward circumstances.

Firstly, we will find that what would normally cause us much care and anxiety will no longer be the case. Secondly, not only will everything turn out well, but we will also be blessed in more ways than one. This is what happens when Jesus, the Prince of Peace, is our peace.

A church member, though stricken with cancer, enjoyed the peace of God, knowing that He was her healer. She later received confirmation from two different doctors that she had been completely healed of cancer. In addition to receiving her blessing of complete healing, she also received from her insurance company a critical illness claim of S$50,000!

Another church member, upon hearing news of her retrenchment, committed the matter to God, believing that He would work all things out for her, especially her loss of a regular income. Shortly after, she received her retrenchment package — a substantial five-figure sum. And within days of her retrenchment, she received calls from her contacts in the industry, offering her jobs, two of which were jobs in well-known multinational corporations (MNCs).

At that time, she had not yet started looking for a job, so the calls were unexpected but welcomed. She finally opted to work for one of the MNCs — a dream come true for her — at a salary that was 30 per cent more than her previous one! When she simply prayed, “Abba Father, I trust You to look after me,” and rested in His love and peace, she was abundantly blessed.

Beloved, because Jesus is your peace, you are blessed in more ways than one. Your soul will prosper. Your health will prosper. Your finances will prosper. Your loved ones will be taken care of. Your relationships will flourish. You will enjoy the favor of God. All because you have the Prince of Peace!

Forgive And Let God Do The Rest by Joseph Prince

Forgive And Let God Do The Rest by Joseph Prince

Ephesians 4:32
32And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.

People like to say, “I can forgive, but I cannot forget.” Have you heard that before? Now, in the first place, nowhere in the Bible does God tell you to forgive and then to forget. It is not in the Bible! The devil is adding something here to make the whole thing burdensome.

God only tells us to forgive because God in Christ has forgiven us a debt we cannot pay. When we do this, we do ourselves a favor because harboring bitterness and unforgiveness can sometimes destroy our health!

So just forgive and let God take care of the rest. When you really forgive, sometimes, He makes you forget. But sometimes, you still remember the incident because it was a major thing in your life. Yet, when you look back at it, the pain is no more there. The sting is gone and you are not bitter.

Joseph had forgiven his brothers before they came and bowed before him. He remembered what they did to him, but he did not remember it with bitterness. (Genesis 50:15–21) So you may remember the incident, but the bitterness is gone because you have put the cross in the picture — “God in Christ forgave me. Daddy, I forgive you. Mama, I forgive you. My cousin, I forgive you.”

When you forgive, forgive by faith, not by your feelings. We walk by faith, not feelings. (2 Corinthians 5:7) Some people are waiting for feelings — “I am waiting, Father, for the right emotion to come on me to forgive that person.” That “right emotion” may never come!

No, forgive by faith, and do it once and for all. Spend time in prayer. Take out your diary and write it down: “Father, I bring this person before you. You know what he did to me. Father, as You forgave me through Jesus’ cross, even though I did not deserve it, by faith, I now forgive this person and I let my anger against him go in Jesus’ name. Amen!”

Once you forgive by faith, you will see the sting of bitterness removed from your heart. You will experience the peace and joy of God filling your mind, and see a greater measure of wholeness in your body!
